Today I went to service my Honda pilot 2020 for servicing ..it took almost 3.45 hours after that they returned me the car said every thing done and now ok .I started for home in the middle I saw on dashboard the Tyre pressure shows more ..front,both rear rt 34 psi instead of 32 psi which is dangerous may crush the vehicle. I called as taking time returned to Denial told he called the technician and corrected but still I found 33 psi each . Told Mr Denial said said that drive 5 miles it will be OK 👍 I took the vehicle home 6 miles away now the pressure front boleft 35 psi rt 34 psi ,rear left 34 psi rt 33 psi I informed the reception they transfer to Mr Denial he is not there .I have a picture of the dashboard a told as the situation is dangerous if anything happens I shall held the Honda responsible to the reception Ms Elizabeth .what to do I am not sure this is the quality of service Honda provides ,instead service providing creating job with raw technicians have no idea about ...

The service person explained every details, future service plans, pricing and impact if we don't do it. One feedback, I don't think appointment is not considered all are let into drive thru line and there is a little bit of wait time.

I went there with a dead battery. The car was still under factory warranty. Pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of the staff. Monday morning. My appointment was at 10:00, I arrived 10 min early and I waited until 10:10. Nobody came out so I had to go into the shop to ask for help. The service advisor Nathan was very helpful and speedy. Overall I would still recommend this service department to others. You might have to wait a little after your appointment.

Purchased a 2016 Accord sport recently, overall process was smooth and easy. Just slightly bothered that I had to drive back and fourth 1.5 hours to get the lf headlight and right front fog light replaced due to damage / tsb for DRL. Was promised a full tank of gas to come back but never happened. Not sure how vehicle made it past safety/used car inspection with lights being out. Overall happy with purchase, staff and process , just one of them weird one off cases..

Its expensive but work is done right Edit: We’ve had our accord for about 6 years now. The transmission is malfunctioning (just as every other infamous CVT trans does) they went ahead & tried to pull the wool over my eyes for one reason or another. I will not speculate on that. The service member went ahead & told me he has to charge me for a diagnostic run because they in fact DID find something wrong (I wouldn’t have been charged had they not find anything/ left it unresolved) Their solution? I needed to flush my car AGAIN. Cars shouldn’t have to be flushed & refilled TWICE in one year. He was even able to pull up the records of the last services which did include a full flush. Without admitting to the transmissions issues (which this card year follows their recalled cars) they went again & suggested charging me 600+ for a Bandaid. No thank you Honda.

My car was in a hit and run accident and it was in the shop for 12 weeks. The shop couldn’t figure out the calibration of the sensors and the locked steering. They towed it to Fremont Honda, and the gentleman named Nathan Duong was on it from the time the car was at Honda. I got his contact from the repair shop and after that he called me on every detail from diagnostic of the problems, ordering parts, and the repair phrase. Little over a week the car was fixed and sent back to shop for me to pick it up. This is how customer service should be. Nathan was able to put myself in his place and assured me about getting the car fixed on time. He is truly a gem at Honda, a person who values his customers. Way to go Nathan. Keep up the good job.

Overall I am really happy with my experience at Fremont Honda. We also visited Milpitas Honda while looking at vehicles and one of the biggest pros for Fremont is that they don't have a "mark up". This isn't technically true but in comparison to Milpitas Honda, it is! Milpitas had an automatic mark up of 5K for regular cars and 8k for hybrid. I believe they were saying Fremont is part of their corporate stores so they don't mark up like that. Don't quote me but it's something along those lines. Fremont Honda has a $2300 mark up. They called it something different because you do actually get some add ons for that price. It for sure came with mud flaps, door scratch protectant, and all weather floor and trunk mats, there might have been one more thing. I appreciate that at least we got some stuff with the added costs. The market right now is pretty crazy on what cars are available and Fremont Honda has very few new cars on the lot. Milpitas had a few available, but we know why with that mark up. We had to put a $500 deposit down and this put a hold on the model and color we wanted that was currently in production and slated for this Fremont location. It was definitely a different car buying experience than I've had in the past but not the dealerships fault by any means, just the nature of 2022 right now. We worked with two separate sales men as the day we were able to come in, our original guy wasn't available. This was Obi and George. They were both pleasant enough. I worked the most with George getting the information and then when we picked up the car. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Shout out to Hendry in finance. He made all the paperwork fly by as easy as possible and was nice to chat with as we went through everything. He was very accommodating to have me sign everything first and then swap off with my husband as we had to bring our toddler on pick up day. He made it quick and easy, and double checked to make sure George came back to do the final hand off of the car. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my experience there. I did end up buying the maintenance package so we'll be going to this location for service as well. Hopefully our experience with service is just as good!

And Dao in particular was expeditious with his processing the paperwork, and let me get out of there on schedule. This was my first service for my car I purchased in July. I was getting an oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived on Saturday around 10:30 am, it was starting to get busy. There were cars pulling into the service center but that didn't matter because the Service Advisors came out quick to greet everyone. Customer service was great. My Service Advisor, Devron Gepalaga, was very helpful. He was nice and professional. And the paperwork didn't take long. The service took about 2 hours. Luckily there is a shopping center a block away. When I returned, my service advisor told me they were almost done with my car. I paid and was out on the road. My Service advisor, Devron, also scheduled my next appointment. I'm not a fan of taking my cars to the dealership, I've always had bad experiences but with AutoNation Honda in Fremont and Roseville, the employees i've worked with had great customer service and made me feel comfortable. Update: 5/14- I took my vehicle to AutoNation Fremont for routine maintenance. I was greeted by an advisor, Dianna. She was professional and helpful. She answered any questions and concerns I had.

My visits to any dealership service yields wildly varied experience however, my 5/16 visit to Autowest Honda in Fremont is rated 5 out of 5. And this is primary due to my service advisor Diana Romero - who guided me kindly and professionally from the beginning to the end of the service process. I brought the car to be inspected (having done my 60k mi service one year ago) and she stated upfront that it will be a "complimentary" inspection at no charge, unless any urgent maintenance items are identified at which point, I will be notified. After awaiting the promised time of 2-3 hours, I picked up the car and the service tech and Ms. Romero had not found any urgent maintenance items (few minor ones). And this is where you earn that 5 star - Ms. Romero did not put any pressure to "needlessly" upsell any work, honestly stated the current state of the vehicle (and credit also goes to the integrity of the tech) and the inspection results and the exactly readings that may result in future work (e.g. exact level of the brake pad or tire), and appreciated the opportunity to inspect my car. Due to this show of good faith, I will be going to Autowest Honda Fremont for the next major maintenance item even though I can probably do the work myself or by a cheaper local mechanic. Thank you Dianna and Autowest Fremont service tech!

The waiting area was clean and comfortable (for those who need to work from here, they have free guest WiFi). My only concern was the prices being expensive and not reflecting what was shown on the website. Sales person, Jeff B., made sure I understood everything about my deal and ensured that I knew all the features of my car. Original post below. -------------------------------------------------------------- Tl;dr: Be extraordinarily careful when buying from AN. I bought my VW in February from Honda Fremont - was great for a few months and now is in need of several large repairs. I took it to a VW repair center, and they had mentioned there were various underlying parts concerns (strut mount & swaybars) that had not been addressed prior to the sale, which had now bubbled up after the fact. Oof. However, they said that if I had a warranty on the car (which I had purchased), that the coverage should mitigate any of the burn from parts & labor. Easy enough, until I tried to contact AutoNation and receive information about my warranty & purchase that was never sent to me in the first place. I am now playing a game of cat-and-mouse with their finance team, who have hung up on me, redirected me to dead directories, and been generally unhelpful trying to resolve this, while I am out of a car for my commute and daily drive. I asked for a PDF copy of my warranty & purchase details to be sent back in February when I purchased the car. It is now May, and I have yet to see any information. Overall: Sales Team - 8/10. Great, a bit blasé with their job given the current labor market, but that's granted. Post Purchase Experience - 1/10. Given the issues above, I would stay as far away from AN as possible. Inventory: 10/10. Wide selection of diverse cars. Physical Location: 10/10. It's a car dealership, not much more to touch on but it's in great shape. These averages in practice shouldn't equate to a 2/5, but I'm weighting the post-purchase experience heavily, as that's where it really counts.

Best purchasing experience ever, however learned it needed a new transmission. went to access my warrantee at Autonation Fremont Service department to have the work done, and entered the biggest bottle neck ever. made two payments on the car, no rental or accommodation given toward my payments, even after requesting. their internal process has been filled with them arguing over who will cover the cost. going on two month, still in the shop, still driving old vehicle.

My first time taking my Honda for maintenance at AutoNation Honda Fremont. My service rep Calvin Jacinto was great, he checked my vehicle history and explained to me what kind of service was required for my vehicle. He went step by step explaining each service and even offered a car wash. He also said I would be receiving texts and a video showing my vehicle being maintained, though the video never did play on my phone, I’m sure everything was done correctly. I won't even bother about the actual wait time versus the estimated given by the service adviser. I has been at least 1 to 2 hours longer than expected. Overall the service was adequate but a couple of things were missed and this leads me to believe that they don't have a checklist for this are minor stuff. I had an oil change and they did not reset the oil dashboard indicator - promised a car wash but was not done. Had to tell them and wait again. Oh well what can you do with an industry stuck on profit but not on service.

It has been very hard for me to reach the financial department since I would like to cancel the extended warranty. I had very bad experience with the front office operator. I have tried so many times to get a hold of my financial advisor for the last 3 weeks. This dealership is a liar. I came from south Sacramento to buy a used Prius. On the phone, the seller Luis said that the is great, nothing wrong with it, the car is in great shape. I drove 2 hours and turn out the paints on top and the door handles came off. Luis told me on the phone that the radio is not working. When I arrived, the whole dash MFD is not working. Luis told me that it’s cover by their used car warranty which is 5days/200 miles but when it turn out it wasn’t even cover cause the miles is too high. I tested drive for 5 minutes came back to the parking lots. Luis turn off the car and took the key inside and never came back out. I had to called him to bring the key back out to turn the car for me again. I ended up brought the car. When I was driving home, I realize that I can’t control where the ac/heater is blowing cause the dealer unplugged ac/heater connector to the dash MFD. I called back and asked them to plug back in. 3 days later, Luis called me back that they won’t do it.

I bought a car that came out super defective from its assembly, and I asked for 2 months to have it fixed and it seems that the person responsible for the service department is still on vacation so they cannot solve it for me (and I imagine he will continue on vacation whenever I come back and ask for a solution 🤣). As I run more the car something goes out of adjustment, definitely if they know how to steal from you. I did not stop him to see it as they are supposed to do as soon as it arrives (the inspection) I bought it out of necessity, now I think they wait for the car to thunder so that someone else responds and not them 🤬🤬🤬 PD. and this story continues, I guess they wait until I reach the mileage limit to tell me that they can't do anything anymore or because I didn't go on time, while my car keeps falling apart. As the manager told me, your car, your debt, your problem that the first day you didn't see that... 03/26/22 It is the date that no one attends to me, they do not answer my mail, my calls, and the worst thing is that only my license plates arrived without stickers...

Nhan the service rep provided exactly what service should be like. Exceptional, above and beyond service. I have worked in customer service for more then 10yrs, he followed everything to the tee. Did not over promise, broke down everything I was getting done to my car, got my car back under the time promised, I was updated along the day by text message. I was truly impressed with the a video text message as to what was done from the technician that was working on my car. I honestly could not be more impressed with this level of service. A few months ago I went to Honda of San Leandro and was quoted over $3k+ worth of service recommended but some I assure you was not needed. Hayward as well, where I live has probably the worst service, so even though Fremont is the furthest of the 3 dealership, it is quite worth it by far! This is also not the first time Nhan has provided this level of service, on another instance I was on a time crunch and on the only day of the week I could come in to get a tune up they were able to get everything that needed to get done in less then an hr! I honestly believe the entire service team actually make their jobs personable and understanding from a customers view point and simple know how to take care of business! Thank you Nhan and to whole team there!

Got my Honda Accord serviced at AutoNation Honda recently. An oil change, oil filter, windshield cleaner concentrate, and motor oil add-on cost me almost $200 (including about $70 in parts). They also asked me to change engine coolant for about $340 and windshield wipers for $39, but I refused those. This is way too costly for a simple 1-A service!

I had a bad experience with the 3rd party Vehicle Protection Plan they sold me with the purchase of new vehicle. I decided to cancel it one week after I bought the vehicle. The cancellation can only be done from the selling agent. The staff at AutoNation Honda, Fremont was very difficult to get to and was not helpful in getting my cancellation request submitted in timely fashion. I still have not received a refund for the VPP warranty after 9 months! Update: As suggested in the response from the owner, I contacted Brian, GM of AutoNation Honda, Fremont. He responded quickly and effectively, and escalated the refund process within the dealership with the help of John, the Finance Manager. Finally, a few days ago, after about 10 months of my original cancellation request, the bulk of the refund (minus about $100) was applied to my outstanding balance. Although the process took inordinately long, and I still lost overall about $200, I am updating the rating from 1 to 3 stars.

Took my car on for service this past Saturday. Calvin, the service representative, was so helpful. He explained in detail what issues the mechanic found. I thought I was just getting an oil change and smog check. Mechanic found a rear shock that was leaking and the drive belt had cracks. Had those issues repaired and had an alignment done. Mechanic was super fast completing all this work in just 4 hours. I would highly recommend AutoNation in Fremont for any service that needs to be done on your vehicle. Ask for Calvin. Super nice person with a lot of knowledge. He continually updated me with the status of repairs on my Honda Civic. Thanks Calvin for making my experience enjoyable and stress free!

I purchased a used vehicle on January 29, 2022. I was there for quite some time. My vehicle had damage on the hood and, it was there but I did not see it. Upon my discovery of the damage on my hood, I called and reported to my salesman and was told to bring my vehicle back. I did so and, of course, he said that the damage was not there when I left the dealership. My girlfriends were at the dealership with me and took pictures as there were congratulating me on purchasing my car. I called the General Manager and he was supposed to get back to me but, he has not as of today, 2-18-22. This dealership has totally disappointed me and I will not refer anyone to purchase a vehicle from them. This whole ordeal has been horrible.

Took my car there for maintenance for the first time and my car was running like a cloud as always, 3 days later my car has all kinds of noises coming out of muffler and runs funny, I called them and told them about the problem and they said they would have to charge me again for a diagnostic.. no thanks, it was a huge mistake taking it to this place, I would never ever go back to this shop. I rather go anywhere else but here. I’m pretty sure they didn’t use the full synthetic oil as I requested. Very hit and miss on service. My advisor was very nice and though my appointment was on a Monday, I went the Saturday prior and he helped me check a 2011 Honda Odyssey in. Main issue was the battery needed replacing and asked about warranty coverage. The battery test came back inconclusive so they said they couldn’t tell me if there would be any coverage. I was then convinced I needed to pay $200-$300 for a diagnostic test first so they could confirm if the issue was the battery or something else. I reluctantly said yes. Prior to leaving, I asked they do an oil change. When I came back for the vehicle. They told me it was the battery (which I knew). They had already replaced. I was a little bothered in that they didn’t call me to confirm or give me a quote as the battery would not be fully covered. Then I asked about the oil change. It was not done and supposedly they didn’t know anything about an oil change! I just took the van and left. Oh, I ordered a part for the broken sliding door motor sometime last year during a time a 25% coupon came out. Supposedly it was ordered. I never got a call. I checked in on the order. They had NO RECORD! I don’t trust Auto Nation and I fluster myself in that sometimes I think it’s still ok to go seek them for service.

Worst experience ever rushed the job without reading the work order. Charged for things that they “forgot” to replace. Tire pressure off. Our service rep Jessica was great its the people doing the work. We were just at this dealership looking to buy a new CRV not even a month. We really need to rethink that. Not sure if we will go back for service or to purchase a new vehicle

All this sounds negative but Ive gone to quite a few different service shops and this is a fairly common practice. If the shop wants to rise above the rest then they should work to improve in these areas. Only issues I had were: 1. If your service advisor is busy, other employees should be able to look up your vehicles status. There were so many people standing around an not working but no one could help 2. If the mechanic breaks a part to get to another part, the dealership should automatically cover the cost. The service advisor first tried to charge me. 3. Take a picture of where they will be working on so you can confirm later when you get your car back. It always seems to happen to me, but the hydraulic lines and wiring were not routed in the mounts as they were originally. They were pinned against another part binding. Over time they would fatigue and fail.

My check engine light started flashing on the way to my Grandma’s 96 birthday! I was 600 miles from where I live in Southern California and I had my 2 little girls and my mom with me in the car. I pulled my car into the dealership and was so grateful that Ross was the one that helped us that day!!! He listened so attentively to my story and went absolutely above and beyond to help me!!!!!! He got me a rental car so I won’t miss my grandma’s birthday and called me everyday with an update. He made a pretty scary and overwhelming situation much less stressful! My girls and I were able to get to my grandmother’s birthday on time and Ross made sure my car was fixed and ready to go so I could get back to Southern California safely. Thank you Ross, my family and I are so grateful!!

Do not go to this dealership. I made an appointment online to get my CR-V its 20,000 mile service and to get the safety recall fixed. When I got to the dealership, they told me they couldn’t fix the safety recall because I had more than 1/2 a tank full of gas. They said to call an make another appointment to get it fixed, so I did. I just got back from that appointment to solely fix the safety recall and they couldn’t do it because the part is on a National backorder. There is a clear lack of communication within this dealership. First, the online appointment portal should tell you if there is any thing that needs to be done before arriving to get the safety recall fixed and if the part is available. If the part isn’t available, why have that option online to make an appointment to get it fixed??? Second, even calling to make an appointment to get the recall fixed sucked. Once again, why didn’t the service personnel on the phone check to see if the part is in stock before allowing/confirming my appointment? Lastly, I got multiple reminders about my appointment, don’t they have someone look to see what kind of appointments have been booked to make sure that they can actually do the service? The communication within the dealership and the dealership with the customers is horrible. I won’t be coming back to this dealership in the future.

Should check part prior scheduled appointments to not waste Customer’s time. Apparently technicians don’t know and can’t read tire’s tire pressure requirements. Dropped off my car for a recall issue and received my car with a low tire pressure indicator light on (due to technician not knowing how to check it confusing my car with another model?).

I went to Automation authorized Honda service center for my 2010 Honda odyssey. My car had few issues which I wanted to take care and some suggested by advisor. 1. Loose steering wheel with play. 2. Steering wheel shakes while applying brakes on high speed. Suggested to change brake pad and rotor. 3. Ticking noise on cold engine start and continues later with less noise. I suggested to check rocker arm and lifters. 4. Multipoint inspection. 5. Oil change. 6. Timing belt and valve adjustment. Was suggested to change the timing belt and generally the people would do valve adjustment as its more than 90k miles. So gave the approval for timing belt and later also for valve adjustment. While the car was getting fixed the advisor mentioned oil leak from engine and could fix that in $700 and there is no ticking noise heard. I questioned what kind of oil leak takes $700 to fix and if we fix that later would cost way more, was not satisfied but Gave the approval as its related to engine and wouldn't have to fix ticking noise as its gone with new timing belt tensioner. The Car was taken on Monday for servicing. On Wednesday got a call to pick the car. As soon as the car arrived I can clearly hear the ticking/tapping noise which was meant to be fixed. I didn?t understood how they said the noise is gone. I explained again and Service center agreed that noise is there and they will check the problem and took the vehicle back to diagnose the problem. They could not find the noise and then I went on Friday morning and talked to the director. Director mentioned they wanted to help and will find the issue and would need authorization to tear down with $500.I agreed as I wanted to fix the issue. So starting Friday there was no call from service center and when I called they didn't pick the phone. Then mid-next week the advisor said they don?t know what is causing the ticking noise and might need to change cylinder head itself and which will cost more. I got convinced that service center don?t know what they are finding and don?t know fix the issue. I came here for because they being authorized Honda service center and authorized for another tear down on directors assurance to find problem. After receiving the vehicle and a day of driving. Things not fixed: 1. Loose steering wheel with some play. - Not fixed 2. Ticking noise - Could not even diagnose the issue. 3. Brake Pad ? too loose and have to push much down to apply brakes. What is fixed after spending 5k with these maintenance and two weeks of time. Oil Change and timing belt with valve adjustment which needs to be observed for more days. My feedback is that, this service center can do some routine standard stuff like oil change and some standard fix and their technicians don?t have capability to find and solve the issue even after you explain. Wasting your precious time is another things. My advice is don?t waste your money and precious time in this authorized Honda service center.

My Honda fit 2019 was recalled by Honda for fuel pump change and I got a letter in my mail regarding it.I called Honda and scheduled an appointment for June 8.After getting an appoint meant I got emails from Honda to remind me about my appointment. On June 8 I went there to leave my car.The service advisor finished all the formalities for this and gave me papers and I handed over the keys to her. I took time off from my work that day.She told me to pick my var in the evening. But in the afternoon around 1:00 pm she called me that your car couldn't done because we didn't have the part .I was surprised and shocked that the service advisor didn't check whether the part was available or not. I wasted my whole day and the car didn’t get done.I went in the evening and they apologised and told me that they will call me when the part will.available.I m still waiting for the call

I was in the market for a new hybrid car. I had my eye on the Honda Insight for a while. AutoNation Fremont had one in stock so I went in and checked it out. I was helped by Vinh and he walked me through the test drive and financing paperwork, Vinh kept telling me he would take care of me and made sure I had every issue and concern addressed. He was really friendly and went out of his way to make sure I had a good experience. They also gave me a fair amount for my 2006 Acura TL trade-in. Long story short: I wanted a new hybrid car. Poor service; I always service at the fremont location since it?s close to my house. My car had flat tire recently, they serviced it as it was part of the package. The rim had oils and cream bursting out of the repaired tire. I asked them to clean it so the assistant herself took wipe but wasn?t clean. I could still see some marks and stretch of tube fill cream. She asked me if she could wash the car but and took car for wash. Returned after 20 minutes saying the car wash is down. Waste of time plus not a great experience to wait at the service center. As of April 2021, the inside of car was sanitized but the marks of sanitization liquid were clearly visible on the dashboard and steering wheel. Uneven layers of sanitization made the interior look worst.

He knew every answer to every question I had on Honda models on the lot and I was really convinced when he showed me all the features. I felt no pressure/no hassle, he gave me time to make my decision & gave a great percentage rate and was able to get me in a 2021 Honda Sport which I didn't think I could afford but he made it affordable for my budget. There were no games, no tricks or last minute surprises on sales price & monthly payments, he kept his word. I highly recommend the Honda Product, but there is some work to be done from the service stand point, I had a 10:15 am appointment, it took 3 hours for an Oil change, tire rotation, and car wash... I would like to ask the GM a question, why should I make an appointment with a 3 hour wait for easy maintenance procedures, it simply took to long and I was cordial as always I bit my tongue and swallowed it, because the young lady that help us was professional, but I expected better service, I am an insurance professional and I can’t afford to have someone wait 3 hours to see me and your appointment was 3 hours ago imagine that !!!

Manny was our salesman and he was awesome, how ever, management other than Henry was complete and utter garbage. I drove 4 hour's from Kings County, with a quote in writing, from their internet sales team, that they would not honor. After spending 6 hours with the Sales Manager, Mustafa, and the General Manager they kept changing the price of the Accord. When we finally agreed on the price, they would not honor a check from Navy Federal Credit Union, stating that they didn't know how to get the title of our vehicle from the bank. Ut they pushed honda finance as a way to get the title. When asked about how they get titles for other vehicles with leins from other banks, he would not answer or give and example of any other bank or finance company. They (Henery) even called and confirmed with Navy Federal Credit Union about the process,and we also showed them the paperwork included with our loan and pre-approval documents that the bank included as instructions to the dealer, on the two different ways that they could get the title free and clear. ..again salesman Manny and the finance guy Henry where on top of their game,, management sucked, and the needs some serious attention. I will not give autonation business or recommenrd them to anyone from.the central valley to ever do business with that shady bunch of stereotypical group of managers.

I made an appointment to see a specific car. When I arrived it was not ready. I sent ahead all of my information to make the process speedy (info on trade in, credit score, etc). They started the process quoting me rates for a credit score almost 100 points lower. It took almost 4 hours to get through the process, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid by getting them my information in advance. Had they continued to update me on a timeline, I could have had dinner, transferred items from the old car to the new, etc. Managing the customer experience is a training course they clearly missed.

A very pleasant experience with Service Manager Lilly, orchestrating service and window tint to her Service writer Jessica, of my 2020 Civic EX Sedan. I dropped off my vehicle at 9am in the morning. At 3pm Jessica called me that everything was completed and ready for pickup. They always take excellent care of me. They did a great job on the window tint. I found 2 cars I was interested in from two different dealerships. This dealership had the one I preferred, but was listed at almost $2,000 more than the other dealership. I emailed this dealership and enquired if there was room for negotiation in the price and was told that if I came in they'd see what they could do. On arrival, after a 1 hour drive, I found the car with undisclosed damage, but was still willing to go ahead with the purchase, for the right price. As soon as I said that, the salesman got a confused look on his face and said, "we are a no negotiation dealership," a sentiment that was then repeated by someone who identified himself as the sales manager. When I stated that I was told otherwise by e-mail, it was implied that I was lying, and after a brief back and forth in which the sales manager just tried to justify overcharging $2000 for the vehicle, I left and purchased the vehicle from the other dealer.

I think the recording service history have. I always service in Honda Fremont in California autonation. In this summer I bought foxwell NT510. I changed the sensor battery. After I changed the sensor battery, I found one of sensor is not match the tpms computer. I think this is the problem cause my tpms system light always alert for 4 years. I think Honda fremont, the worker when I was service. He intend change one of my sensors in Tpms computer. Cause the senses number was not match the computer. Then after driving maybe five or six Mile the alert comed on. How do you explain this situation? I think this behavior is not good ,as the fake service. And course I need spend more money for his behavior. His service man said they need$800 to repair this and I didn't do it. What crazy! they use this very easy way to fake repair situation and make money. They just use their hooda special tool to match another sensor enough. Upload only one picture? The last one sensor is not match the computer. That number is 8D2006F5. My four sensors don't have the number 8D20064F. I already have the picture, but only can upload one picture. I don't know how to connect with you show the proof.

Our sales person was Daniel Lee was pleasure to work with. His performance was totally opposite of what one expects from a car sales person - no double talk, no bait and switch or haggling. From the moment of setting an appointment to the time the car was serviced and delivered, Lily Carbis conducted herself with professionalism and efficiency. She kept me updated on the status of the car with a detailed indication of what was done to it. Even after the car was delivered, she followed up with a phone call to make sure I was happy with the service received. My car is 6 years old and I was impressed that it looked and drove as good as new after the service. You know that good feeling after getting a great haircut? From my first service appointment to touch up a scratch that the car had on the rear bumper from before the purchase was made, to the first service appointment and additional small service asks that I have had, Devron, and the other service reps have been great. I was treated with respect and the staff as a whole have a very amicable disposition towards anyone that pulls up to the service queue. Several staff members who have received my vehicle have been most welcoming, and pay close attention to detail upon inspecting the vehicle at the arrival process. With an appointment date, I took my Honda CRV to AutoNation last January 2, 2021 for it got the service light on; it needed change oil and I elected to have tire rotation. The service advisor that assisted me, Danny was nice and cordial. We had some good, pleasant exchanges and while accessing the vehicle record on his terminal, it showed that at the current mileage it is suggested to have wheel alignment too. I asked for the cost and after declined explaining that I will have it done on the next time around due to financial reason. Your service advisor nicely acknowledged and informed me of the total cost for the day?s service will be $41.75. It took about two hours of waiting then I was informed through my cellphone that the vehicle was ready for me. At the service department Danny printed and handed me the receipt with instructions on where to pay and the vehicle will be coming out to be parked at the front. All exchanges were pleasant, happy and cordial. Danny reminded me to respond to the online survey and give him a good write up which I honestly think he deserve. Driving the car on my way out of the establishment, at the main road I noticed the vehicle was pulling to the left. To determine what?s happening, on Cherry Street, I straightened the wheels direction, removed my hands on the stirring wheel and the vehicle started turning left to the middle of the road at about 75 to 100 ft., the wheels were misaligned! Upset with the condition, upon reaching home I requested for wheel alignment appointment at Wheel Works. The test result indicated the Rear Left Camber Toe was out 0.19 degrees, where the specifications are 0.00 deg to 0.16 deg. Unfortunately this review format does not accept .jpg attachment but if you need the Wheel Works alignment report I can send it through email. My vehicle, the 2016 Honda CRV was perfect in all operating conditions when I took it to Honda AutoNation that day. It was handling abnormally when I drove it out of your service shop. It had wheel mis-alignment and dangerous to drive or operate on the normal road. I believe the mis-alignment was intentionally done to make the owner return the vehicle for additional service, thus additional revenue to your company. Am I mistaken, or is it dishonesty at your end?

My new, 2 week old CRV gave me every problem code there was including brake systems. When I called, because it was a Sunday, service center was closed, but they would not even give me a loaner car. Need to tow it in tomorrow, so 2 days without transportation because my NEW, only-had- for -2-weeks, CRV Hybrid broke down. Not what I would expect from a new car or the dealership that sold it to me.

All of the staff were super friendly and made us feel so comfortable, but Sammy went above and beyond for me. I had to update my review. So after leasing a car from them with great experience i tried to sell my other car to them. Initially they offered below market value which I declined. Then after a some communication with the manager and a sales manager we agreed on middle price. And was asked to stop by to finish the paper work. When i got their they retracted from the agreed price and even offered a lower price then previous one. With claim the original offer was expired!! What waste of tome for everyone

I went to AutoNation Honda in Fremont, CA to get my car its first service. Due to COVID-19, I have not been driving as much as I used to, so Jason took a look at my car and assessed any current services that my car needed during that time. I can see that Jason has excellent customer service. He took his time to meticulously evaluate my car and remained transparent in order to establish my comfort of working with him. However, I thought the price just for a tire rotation and an oil change was pretty expensive. I decided to stay and work while waiting for my car to finish its service, I felt indifferent about this experience. The laptop/workstation area was right in front of the restrooms with little space to social distance. Thankfully it was not crowded so I was able to move to a spot that provided enough distance from others. Overall, it was a good experience. I would come back and work with Jason again.

I had a bad sound coming under my car on right side when I press on the break pedal. That is why I came to AutoHonda. I told the guy about it and he said $190 would be charged for it. However, he also started including other stuff for a total costing more than $1100. But, when I picked the car and paid that grotesque amount the break pedal still was causing the same problem. I went to Autonation Honda fremont dealers. I have some problems with my AC. My car was under warranty until next year. The advisor told me that your warrant is expired. So, I went to the honda financial advisor , they said your vehicle is under warranty until next year. He literally try to trick me and not providing the repair that my car needs. He waisted my time and I came home. When these dealers are selling new cars, they will tell you don't you worry its under warranty. But when when something wrong with the vehicle, they hesitate to repair it. Once, its sold they don't care about customer service. I found out myself, went to the rep asking if i can get my car, she said she was finishing a paperwork and will call me as soon as she is done. Understood but You have to let customers out of the door AT PRIORITY after that excruciating wait. Rest of the things can follow. On a side line it was an eye opener that the tire rotation is not included in the oil change package which i took while at car lease. No one informed me and the car rotation is $40 if i wanted to get it done, seriously ...

Wholly better experience than when I made my last car purchase, 7 years ago. They both are wonderful to work with, they take their time, and there is no pressure, they are both just happy to share information with you. We worked with both on Friday 7/31/20-Sebastine stayed well past closing with a smile and excitement. Jessica was very nice.Hopefully my tire pressure monitoring system light got fixed.This is the 4th time the tp light came on after being serviced last March.It started after I came home from my car being serviced.I was told just to reset and the light went away.After driving for about 200 miles in 2 months,the tp light was back. Brought the car to the dealership and did not see anything.The tp light came back again after a month and I was told that I had a nail in one of the tires so I have to buy 2 tires and paid for balancing.Then the tp light came back again for the 4th time 1 month after the new tires change.This time Jessica helped me and told me that I have to wait about 2 to 3 hours to check my tires.They did not see anything.I made an appointment every time I had the service and I was given the name of the service advisor but those are not the ones I see.

I've been coming to AutoNation to service my Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid and Insight for several years now. Their service maintenance department is awesome! It's easy to make an appointment online, their waiting room is comfortable and they've always been on point with service recommendations, repairs ETA and communication. It's also conveniently located next to Pacific Commons shopping area. So while my car is being serviced, I can easily do some shopping or dine at one of many restaurants.

I took my car in for maintenance service on 7/27/20 and I just want to say I was pleased with the speed of the service I received. Dianna Romero was courteous and friendly. Dianna checked me in upon arrival and while she was helping me with the paperwork, the tech worker outside was covering my steering wheels, floor and gear handle (?) to keep up with the covid guidelines. Dianna said it would take 2 hours to complete the oil change, tire rotation and alignment and they actually delivered and called me 2 hours later to state that it was done. As a bonus they washed the outside of my car to my satisfaction. I just want to thank everyone that was involved for delivering the service that was promised timely. Keep up the great work!

Waited for almost 2.5 hours just to get an oil change on 7/21/20. On my service document it was noted for 2 hours. I am not sure if it?s worth this wasted time to wait this long. And most of the service advisors on the floor kept telling their customers that when they receive a survey on their email is to rate them an overall rating of 10. I don?t feel comfortable with this suggestion.

I came in for 2 specific services my car was having issues with, and after review was suggested 6 services which unfortunately seemed to sideline my initial problems. We determined that half of the services were not immediately needed, and we were able to bring the price down (thank you!) and get my car serviced that day. One service was the replacement of all 4 tires. Upon getting my car back the tires that I was promised to receive (brand and model) were replaced by another tire by the same manufacturer, which felt a bit like bait and switch unfortunately. The tires also were not cleaned up upon receipt. I really appreciate working with me to bring the price down, but it was still quite high compared to what I presented for that day. I'd really like this to be my primary place of maintenance since it is a Honda dealer and close to home, but after 2 similar experiences I'm not so sure.

BUYER BEWARE! I went to Auto Nation Honda Fremont looking to purchase a used reliable Honda Accord on Saturday, June 13, 2020. My husband and I described the type of vehicle we were searching for and the price we wanted to stay under. The salesman took us to one vehicle and we ended up test driving it. It drove pretty well for the 5 mins we were in the car test driving. The car looked great for being a 2003 Honda Accord. It had clean interior and not very many scrapes or dents. The salesman was very friendly and professional and so was Alex, one of the Finance managers. However, now looking back on the situation, the salesman rushed us to sign the paperwork stating that someone else had come in to take the car for a test drive and that the first ones to sign and purchase the car would get it. We were happy with the purchase as we left the car lot. The car drove very well for the first 3 days. On about the 4th day it started to stutter a bit but stopped after a short period of time so we thought maybe it was because the weather was so hot and the air conditioner was being used. On the 7th day (June 20, 2020), one week to the day of our purchase, the car stopped on the freeway and we had to have it towed. Before towing it we contacted the Auto Nation Honda Fremont used car Manager Willi Warren and advised him the car had stopped on the freeway, thinking he would tell us to have the vehicle towed to them so they could take a look at it. But NO that was not the case. Willi, the used car manager stated that because we had passed the 5 days time frame that allowed us to return the car, there was nothing that could be done and the car was sold as is with no warranty. There was not an option to purchase a warranty because it was a 2003 with 163,000 . We believe the transmission has failed and believe Honda Fremont knew the vehicle had this issue before them putting it on the lot to be sold to an unsuspecting customer. Even if they want to claim they didn't know, they should have known because after the car broke down on the freeway, I started researching the possible problem and found that Honda in general knew that many, many, many, many people who owned 2003 Honda Accords have been complaining for years about faulty transmission problems. So much so, that folks wanted a recall by Honda or a class action lawsuit to force Honda to fix the transmission problems. So why didnt Honda Fremont ensure this major mechanical problem was not an issue with this vehicle before selling it. BEWARE WHEN YOU PURCHASE FROM AUTO NATION HONDA FREMONT. Do not trust what comes out of their mouth. Even though they say they service used vehicles and that if no major issues are found, they place them on the lot for sale, clearly this is FALSE. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! Go have the vehicle checked elsewhere outside of Auto Nation Honda Fremont because they WILL NOT stand behind what they sell you. I now own a car with a major mechanical problem after having the car for only 1 week and Auto Nation Honda Fremont refuses to stand behind what they sold me. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Got a seemingly good deal on a used car but the wait time and service was simply terrible, abysmal, and the car had a defective battery. The car is CPO and claimed to pass some 100+ checks, but the battery died the very next day. I had to call AAA and they checked the battery and said it is going to need replacing. Had to spend on a new battery the very next day. We got in at 2pm, with an appointment. We were approached by a service associate only around 3pm. We made the decision to purchase at 3:30pm, and finally got to signing papers only around 8pm. We just had to wait in the lobby all the while, without even getting a clear estimate on how long it would be. If you're backlogged, you could at least make it clear how much time it is going to take. The car is supposed to be a CPO (certified pre-owned). When we were signing the papers, the associate forgot this, and told us it is not CPO. Another 20 minutes to confirm whether the car is in fact CPO or not.

I just bought a new 2020 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD at AutoNation. My sales person Fred was very nice, professional & attentive to my needs. The process took longer than I anticipated, but in all fairness, I happened to be there at a very busy time. The only part of the experience I would suggest the company improve on is directed at the management team. I observed a lack of diversity in the staff and very male dominated. This was echoed in the staff photo on the wall. Over forty employees were pictured, only two of which were women and there also appeared to be a lack of ethnic diversity, which is not representative of the general SF Bay Area population. Fred drove the car to the front so I could see the color and sit inside my new car. I brought my car in for warranty work. The service advisor did a courtesy check and said my battery was dead. I decide to not replace it and pick one up at my local auto parts store. They performed a standard test (took about an hour) and said the battery was fine. I called and spoke to person about my experience and she said that the service manager would call me back. We bought a 2019 Accord last weekend with the help from Alexis Moreno. The whole deal went very smooth and as straight forward as it could be; did not feel pressured in closing the deal. The facility was clean with other knowledgeable and helpful staff.

This review is for the most recent one bad service experience that I had in this service center. Over all AutoNation Honda was good in my experience. So one representative checked me in on a Saturday morning at 7:30 and told me they'll call me when my car is ready in about 3 hours. so I sat and wait there. When it's 11:00 nothing happens. So I go check with some other representative and realize that my car was ready 2 hours ago... Out of Mobile number, home number, work number. he chose to use my work number to contact me which is not a primary contact number. Second, in the service package there is car wash included. But when I got my car, car was not washed. I don't wanna make it sound like this place is bad. But this particular incidents does make me wanna switch to other service center next time.

The service department at AutoNation Fremont is poor at best. I was sold an extended warranty when I bought out my lease and spent almost 30 minutes just trying to find someone in service to assist me even though I had an appointment. Additionally they were going to have my car for half a day by eight hours I finally called. Yeah your car is ready. They don’t go the extra mile at Fremont Honda service and I would recommend a different dealership.

Autonation Honda Fremont is an amazing dealer. Just purchased my first car (Accord touring 2.0t) from them. The salesperson Alonso is really patient and nice! He was with us for 4 hours (till 11pm!) to select among different interior and exterior colors. The dealer also gives a fast service in providing titles and other paperworks, so that we could drive our vehicle back home at the same day! The OTD price is also competitive! NO.1 Honda dealer in the bay area!!!!

They were patient and answered all of my questions and took their time even though it was a busy holiday weekend. I’m a nursing mom and Shah was very understanding and even tried to find me some privacy to feed my little. What an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, Anthony was ready and waiting for us as we arrived. Could not have been more impressed with his punctuality. I was instantly offered a tour of the vehicle I wanted and got any questions answered on the spot. Worst honda experience ever.. charged me 2 times more for just an AC diagnosis.. later i managed to get the money back . But the thing which bothers me alot is they said they added freon for testing but they didn’t for sure they just checked for leaks with the light as there was UV dye in it already from my previous service which was few weeks ago.. Nguen is the service provider i met ..i had to explain him what they wrote on the bill and what they did... anyways after an hour wait i got my refund .. stil waiting for my bank to show it in the account... we trust and give our cars to these dealers and for simple checks they charge tons of money and upon finding the problem they still are not sure about the fix.. honda should do a better job... uncertified mechanics with an eye of experience can tell you the problem and the fix but these so called trained mechanics have no ethics nor any experience... i would not recommend anybody to go to this particular dealer...

First off, let me just say that if it were up to me, I would never bring my Honda to a dealer for service, let alone this particular one, AutoNation Honda Fremont - (888) 287-4030. They tend to overcharge you for services performed and in some cases, implement a fix to a problem that only aggravates the problem further. The only reason I would ever bring my Honda to the dealer for service would be this particular instance: a Product Recall. I believe that if your company makes a mistake, they ought to fix it for free. My issue is with how their Service Department does business. When I scheduled my appointment, I was informed by the person who scheduled the appointment that the job would only take 15 minutes to complete and that they had the parts on hand for the Product Recall service. I scheduled my appointment for 8am on a Saturday. I arrived at 7:30am so that I could check my car in and get all the paperwork taken care of by 8am. As I was discussing the work to be performed, the Service Tech informed me that there were actually 2 Recalls instead of the one that I was scheduled for. The Tech informed me that it was the same Recall, but for the passenger side. It would also take 15 minutes to complete and they had the parts needed. What startled me and got me frustrated was when the Tech informed me that the service on my Honda would take THREE HOURS! How is this possible?! If one recall takes 15 minutes, then two recalls should take 30 minutes. If we round that up, the entire service should take no more than 1 hour at the most! But no, the Service Tech repeated that the job would take three hours, adding further that there were a lot of people ahead of me. I informed him that I had an appointment that I had book earlier that week and I was even here 30 minutes before my appointed time. He then stated then that all those other people ahead of me also booked appointments. With this being the case, I can only deduce that the Service Department overbooked appointments and didn't bother to do anytihng about the issue. Why even bother to book an appointment if the Service Department wouldn't even honor the commitment to have the job completed within the expected amount of time? Two 15 minute jobs taking three hours to complete?! What utter nonsense and complete waste of a morning! If I could take my Honda somewhere else to have these Service Recalls done, I would gladly do so. Unfortunately Honda has to do the repairs and these inept individuals at the Service Department know this. I highly recommend that YOU NEVER EVER GRING YOUR HONDA FOR SERVICE AT AutoNation Honda in Fremont on AutoMall Parkway. You'll just waste your time!

I had scheduled and appointment for service and after 30 min wait I’m still waiting for a representative to approach to the car. I asked inside and I was tall to remain in the car. I started to miss the quality of service that I used to have from Fremont Subaru with my previous vehicle. I hope things change with this brand because in a couple months I don’t know how will be with my toddler and my new born waiting for service here. It is awful.

I recently purchased a Tesla from Autonation Honda Fremont. The sales person was nice and did his accurately. But beyond that the finance person and calling them over the phone was horrible. I got my own financing through my bank so I was able to drive the car Honda and take care of the paperwork later, I had a approval letter from my bank that provided instructions to the dealership to complete the deal so before I headed over I called the dealership at least 10 times trying to clarify that what I had was sufficient But they constantly hung up on me, transferred me over to a voicemail and bluntly disregarded answering the phone. I took the risk and drove down there even though nobody wanted to give me a clear answer and when I got their. Everyone continued to give me the run around telling me I needed to talk to my sales person only. Nobody wanted to help me. The finance person finally sat down with me after I insisted. They kept trying to make me go away and even went to the extent to say that they didn’t care if I cancelled the transaction. The only reason I didn’t cancel the transaction was because I’m honestly a little tired of looking for a car and I can’t continue to waste time. These finance people who work here are extremely rude and have horrible customer service skills. I hope management makes an effort to address his staffs customer service skills. Please feel free to reach out to me if you’d like to discuss further the headaches I went through in dealing with this staff. Horrible place to purchase a car.

Smooth experience in all ways. Started with Car Gurus, I know what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. ANF had the car and they were 10 minutes from my office. With Car Gurus I had reply back from ANF GM right away and was set up with a sales person before I got there. This made going there on my lunch hour very simple. Car Fax was handed to me by the GM right when I walked in. I drove the car and found it a fit for what I wanted, went through paperwork with sales, onto finance, and was on my way. I also like the Auto Nation "No Haggle" price. They fairly price below Kelly Blue Book so the price you see is the price you get, a feature that was well explained by the finance person. I will recommend and I will go back.

I bought my car and the sold me the extended warranty for the oil changes. I have been taking my car there since 2008 and not once did anyone mention anything about this warranty expiring- not even the finance manager who sold it to me. When I would take the car in once in a while the service manager would say “ you have 7 left” etc. no one ever mentioned about this expiring. I called Saturday to make an appointment for my oil change and asked the lady how many I had left. She looked it up and told me three. When I arrived on Monday at 8am I was told that it was not covered. I could not believe it. The service person was brand new. I told them I had never been told this. I stood at the counter for 20 minutes while he kept trying to figure out how to find out if it was covered. The person at the desk said to do it free this time. Then after a 3.25 hour wait for the oil change he told me I had to pay for my tire rotation. This had never been mentioned before. I also asked to have my wipers replaced and he said they couldn’t do it because the didn’t have that brand. I said WHAT? No one has ever told me they can’t replace my wipers. It was so weird. I was not happy with him asking me to pay for the tire rotation when it is included in the oil change warranty that I paid for- and should have 2 left. In the past I have had better experiences- but this visit was a nightmare. When I go to purchase a new car I will check out other Honda dealers first.

today I came in to this dealership and had a very terrible experience dealing with the sales team. First off no one had any clue I was going to be there as if I didn’t have an appointment, scheduled to test drive. The first person to greet me seemed to have no interest in talking with me to even learn why I stepped into dealership let alone give me a test drive and then the person who finally did give help me with the test drive seemed annoyed to do so. I told him I wanted to lease the Odyssey and what pricing I was looking for and that I received a quote from you and from another dealership on the price of the vehicle and that I wasn’t 100% sold on the RES level but if the cost turned out to be only $300 more for the better model instead of the L trim, I wanted the offer on that model. He went and talked to the manager saying they could match the offer and how I’d like to finance. When I reminded him I wanted to lease, he seemed annoyed even further and said the manager can’t meet that price and it would be too expensive and not even provide the options between the 2 levels and that I should just go to the other dealers. On top of that didn't feel like I was being treated like a potential customer but someone who should be thankful to be here. I have never been treated by a dealership like this before, every other one I've been to made me feel like they were eager for my business, provide me with water/coffee, etc. instead this dealership kind of shooed me away to the kitchen if I wanted something and seemed overly inconvenienced by any question I had. Is this the type of treatment that I should expect from all Honda dealerships?

AutoNation Honda of Fremont should provide proper customer service training to their SAs especially Areana Troche and Robert Gonzales (whom I dealt with on March 16, 2019) to be more polite and service oriented to their customers. My SA did not explain post service work and did not call back after I left 2 voicemail messages. Customers are people who patronize the business so they should be treated with respect and excellent service, Otherwise, this dealership would be losing valued customers.

He was going above and beyond his ability to assist me to getting a brand new Honda Accord Sport 2019. His 17 years+ knowledge in the industry amazed me. Vinh was really patient, and showed no pressure to hurry to seal the deal. Saw a used car online that interest me, and made an appointment qith the internet sales dept to see it the NEXT day. Drove 1.5 hrs to see it and they told me sorry but we lost the key. Then they said we cant make a new for 2 days. Wasted 4 hrs for nothing. I was back in area 2 days later as my husband found another car for himself at a different dealer. Honda contacted me and said they FOUND the key. They even brought the car over to the other dealership for me to test drive while my husband did his paperwork. I liked it and bought it. But haven't been able to drive it now for 8 days as the dealership never gave me the temp registration and the tags are expired. I emailed the sales person and everyday I'm told its gonna be mailed..still dont have it...They also told me they put a full tank of gas in it, nope.Had just like half. Good thing it was just a car for my son to start learning to drive in and he can wait. Salesperson is supposed to be looking for another specific car for me. Undecided if I will return.

To be frank, these guys are a bunch of liars and crooks. Here is my experience with this 'great' branch of Honda. I called them recently asking for a quote on a car that I was interested in purchasing (It was a Honda Insight if you must know). I mentioned to them that I had a price point that I had agreed to at another dealership and asked them to beat it. Although initially the sales person said they couldn't beat it (keeping his name private since he's not the offender), he called me back and had his manager on the line as well. The manager said word for word that he could beat the price and to come in to purchase the car the same day. His name was JR which was probably initials / abbreviation for someone. I was very clear and told him to not waste my time if he couldn't beat it, to just say no. The manager (JR) and salesperson said that they could indeed beat it, to come in, and we'll have a deal with no hassle. After spending 40 minutes driving down to the dealership, I check out the car and it's what I want. When I get to the 'negotiating table', immediately someone named Mustafa chats with me and tries to get me to lease the car. I explained to him that I was not interested in leasing the car but in purchasing it. In response he says "But what if I can't beat your price?" I look around in confusion to the sales person and to my friend who was accompanying me that day, and replied "I don't understand, I'm only here because the salesperson and manager agreed to the price". This is when the salesperson jumped in and mentioned that JR agreed to the price. I could tell Mustafa was flustered since no one told him of the arrangement. He walks back to the back office and I see a lot of talking / discussions, then he comes back with a sheet of paper with a breakdown. I look at the price...and it's $1,000 over the price I asked them to beat. Over the phone they mentioned they could do $500 less than the price I stated, so this was $1,500 over what I wanted to pay. I was not amused and neither was my friend. After some back and forth, we agree to the price I wanted to beat plus weather mats included. He goes back, more discussion, and comes out withe same price. Immediately I ask the salesperson why this was happening since he is a really good person to work with. He says that a different manager was handling my sale now, and that it was a no. Mustafa chimes in and says that he's losing money on the price I stated (which we all know is a lie). We're furious as hell. Since this was an incredible waste of my time as well as my friend's, we request to talk to the manager. Boy...this manager, he was one of the most unprofessional people I have met. We go to his office and he's making sandwiches on his desk. He has bread, deli meat, and a jar of pickles. Although he can see the heated discussion taking place outside, he takes his sweet time to walk out to us, wipes his hand on his pants, and sticks out his hand to introduce himself to us. "Hi I'm Jon, what seems to be the problem". I explain to him the issue about pricing. It's like it just went thru on ear and out the other. He immediately blames the salesperson "He must have misunderstood what you said, no promises were made. ". We tell him to not blame the sales person, and he gets super defensive. "I'm not blaming anyone, but you guys are making a scene at my store and if you don't want to do business, you can leave". Not only does he deflect the blame to the salesperson, he tries to turn it on us. He tries to shake our hand, but my friend and I were fed up. We just left. I don't shake hands with cheats. In the end I went to another branch I originally mentioned and bought the car with no shady dealings or hair pulling negotiations. I'll share the dealer in DM if anyone needs / wants to know.

I would not be coming back to AutoNation Honda Fremont to repair my vehicle. I had a valve cover gasket replaced for my 2003 CRV. After driving the vehicle for two days, I though I look under the hood to see if there is no oil leak. I found out that my screws for my air filter housing was loose and one was missing. One of the hexnut for valve cover was lose. Then I checked around my engine and saw oil leaks leaking out of my valve cover gasket. It is leaking at the back passenger side. It seems not enough sealant was applied. I went back to the service and instead of redoing the repair, they would like spend another $$$ for parts and labor. I would not be coming back for service and lost their trust.

My third oil change/tire rotation at AutoNation Honda Fremont. Nice, friendly folks at the service desk. A four-hour wait on an oil change is however, unacceptable - especially as I had the vehicle in at the earliest appointment time (7:00am). I was told the delay was due to the fact the garage had a acquire the proper oil filter from Hyundai. The Hyundai dealership is just a short walk around the corner. Maybe next oil change I’ll volunteer to pick the item up myself if it’ll knock a few hours off the wait time.

I dropped off my car at night to be serviced the next day for an oil change. They called me regarding other services that needed my attention regarding new brake pads. Yes, I know I need to get new brakes, the agent was very rude and pushy. I did ask how much the service was for front and back. He gave me the quotes. I asked how long each service would take. He gave me the information. He acted like he was doing me a favor talking to me about brakes. I don't have $800 laying around and need to figure out expenses, as well as when I can bring it back for servicing. Next time I get coupons and decide to use them, I will go to the one close to work. They are much more friendly than your location.

My appt time was at 0700 and when my husband came at 0645, there was 4 cars waiting ahead of him already (do they have appt..???). And not quite sure why it took 3 hrs for a change oil in my SUV cause he called me at 10am and he was just leaving at your service department. He was upset after knowing when he asked if my SUV was done, and yes it was and no one informed him. But overall, I’ll still give u all a thumbs up for keeping my SUV running and clean. I just hope next time it will not take 3 hrs. I scheduled it super early cause it was our 27th wedding anniversary that day and we planned to go Santa Cruz and leave at 0900. But we decided to stay around the area instead due to heavy traffic already.

Went in for service and tire replacement.. went for walk while car being checked out . Received call from Edward at dealership . Tire I wanted replaced under extended warranty. Told tire had to much wear for replace under warranty. Only have 30868 miles on car . So my 1st thought is I paid 23k for a car in 2014 that only had 30k limit on tires. Edward also said they need to replace 3 tires, excluding one I got this year a few months ago that replaced another tire that was unrepairable. . but including tire I had replaced last year.. SO basically Honda wanted to charge me approx. $600 for repair ,for 3 tires at a cost of approx.$100+ a tire that's only good for 30k miles. I felt that was a rip off. The mechanic that bought my car out asked ,how much was I being charged for repairs. I told him ,he said that's a good price .I couldn't get it done anywhere cheaper. But I do know some things about cars, I knew I could. Another thing that irks me is ,I live under 2 mi from Anderson Honda in Palo Alto ,but when I was dealing with sales agent and purchased extended warranty he failed to mention , I could only use it at auto nation in Fremont ,which is approx. 20 mi from where I live.. I would recommend the Anderson dealership if someone lived in my area.

I was extremely disappointed with the service, as I have never had problems before. I made the appt with Rodney, but a different guy came out to help me instead. He included a tire rotation in my quote, after I told him I just wanted the oil change. He asked me whether I would be staying, and I told him yes. He said he would call me if he couldnt find me. I told him that the number he has for me is outdated and to use my newer one, but that I wasn’ t going anywhere anyway. 3 1/2 hours later, I had him paged, and he looked like he didn’t recognize me. Then he explained that he left a voicemail about an hour and a half ago. I thought he had deleted the non functional number when I told him I no longer have it, but thats the number he was calling. I just feel like he really wasn’t listening at all, and I was disappointed that I had to cancel other appts I had scheduled for that day. I should had have him paged earlier, buy what a waste of time.

My issue is not with Trevor my service intaker or with the tint job Manny did which turned out really good despite a few small bubbles. My issue is the condition in which my Brand New 2018 Honda Accord Sport was returned to me. There are stains on my new upholstery which I was told would and it hasn’t and there was a small pool of water in the side door. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional, my upholstery needs to be cleaned or replaced, as I’m not settling for stained upholstery with my new car that’s only 2 weeks old. This makes me not want to have my car serviced where work appears to be mediocre, one more service and I’m done here, hopefully this one turns out right.

Hi There, Reson for visit: AC fan was always on when the ignition key was on Honda AutoNation Fremont Issue : 1- Wrong diagnostic which cost me more 2- more than 2 times for fixing the issue and unnecessary I bought costly parts which was not needed at all Fremont AutoNation Honda did recently do a diagnostic for my car for "AC fan was always on when the ignition key was on"issue. After diagnostic ,they suggested me a replacement of "Dashboard Fuse Box" and it will cost around more than $1800 ( fuse box $600 ++ '38200-SNA-A32'+ $ 1200 labor ). Then I have asked other Honda Dealers (Steven Creek and San Leanadro) because I felt it is too costly. Honda Dealers (Steven Creek and San Leandro) told me total cost will be around $700 ($480 for fuse box +$ 228 labor cost) only. Due to the huge price difference, I have shown my car Honda-Steven-Creek, they believed the diagnostic of Honda-AutoNation and replaced the dashboard fuse box but it did not solve the issue so Honda-Steven-Creek did again diagnostic of the car. They found that the issue with AC Controller (Knob) and I have updated these details to Fremont AutoNation Honda . Fremont AutoNation Honda asked to me come and show the car show they can see if diagnostic was wrong . Once I reached to "Fremont AutoNation Honda" and they asked to first fix your car by installing new AC controller then they will do the check if their diagnostic was wrong. After multiple discussion, I lost the faith on "Fremont AutoNation Honda" so asked them how they are going to do the diagnostic after fixing the car by installing new AC controller. They said that once the car is fixed then they will put the old fuse-box and will check the still AC works as expected or not. Mr. Philip said that if a diagnosis was a problem then "Fremont AutoNation Honda" is going to pay me back all money (Fuse box price + all labor cost + diagnostic cost). After this , I asked "Steven Creek Honda" to install the AC controller, they did and AC started working as expected. Then I asked them to install old dashboard fuse-box and take out the new dashboard fuse-box so "Fremont AutoNation Honda" will not able to play the blame game and was not in a situation to believe "Fremont AutoNation Honda". Afterinstalling the old dashboard-fuse-box also AC works as expected without any issue which clearly dictates that the diagnostic was wrong . Then again I met with Mr. Philip/Joe and explained the details and shown the all receipts and service performed by "Steven Creek Honda" after all discussion they had paid to me only (diagnostic cost + labor cost done by Steven Creek). They are not ready to take new dashboard-fuse-box and return the amount for this. I shared all details to Joe/Philip but did not get any response back till now. Salesman was good. Just not satisfied with the interior. Not very clean. It smell like the previous owner owned a dog. All the tires had only 22 PSI. Both wipers blade was no good. Couldn’t see well on the way home.

If you’re able to, get service done during the week. The weekend at dealerships can be stressful due to the huge number of customers. My experience this last visit on a Tuesday was fantastic. Super friendly advisor, really reasonable cost and time to complete a A15 service. Also they washed my car! The lobby was clean and had plenty of different sitting room areas including a set of couches, a series of desks aligning a wall with partitions, and a few closed door offices. WiFi was slow but easy to connect to and free. Free coffee, filtered hot/cold water, and tea was available. Overall a very good experience.

The service rep that helped me was Patrick. Patrick’s knowledge and help was five stars in every way. He called me early in the day to arrange my car repair and maintenance and by mid-day everything was already done. Check-out was smooth and everything was clearly explained to me. I was really pleased to be offered a sizable discount which made me happiest with the transaction. Patrick was the best service rep I have dealt with at Honda and I hope to be taken care of by him again! Five stars!
